Skirball Cultural Center
After seven weeks designing solutions to some of the biggest issues facing our society today, 20 teams from 20 high schools of the Los Angeles Unified School District will showcase their model solutions at the Skirball Cultural Center in this city-wide competition. The judges will be looking for stellar presentations that exhibit creativity, originality, and achievable solutions.
The prize? The top three winning teams advance to participate in the Aspen Ideas Festival, where some of the most inspired and provocative thinkers, writers, artists, and leaders gather from around the world.
Students from across Brooklyn illustrate exactly why solving community challenges means diving into your own creativity, connectedness, and leadership.
At the Solution Showcase, teams present their solutions to a panel of distinguished judges who select top teams based on creativity, feasibility, sustainability, and teamwork.
